Goodbye Australia, Hello New York

August 5, 2016

Finally landed in the United States of America. Safe and sound.  Now I’m feeling motivated and looking forward to the few intensive weeks ahead. But before I continue, I would first like to extend my gratitude to the QUT Faculty of Law and the Dean Professor John Humphrey for the well-crafted Article they posted about my journey – as follows:

Law student and QUT Faculty of Law Founders’ Scholarship recipient, Fred Duku Silver is representing QUT in New York at this year’s Youth Assembly at the United Nations.

“The Faculty is delighted to support Fred in attending the 2016 United Nations Summer Youth Assembly in New York. He is an outstanding role model,” said Professor Humphrey, Executive Dean of the QUT Faculty of Law.

My next post will be in two days. However, I will be snapchatting most of the experiences. To gain access add dukuinspires.

I will be sure to keep everyone informed.

Kindly,

Fred Duku Silver

(p.s I forgot to apply for my extensions. Don’t tell the Dean)
